On September 27th at 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. (Pacific Time) please join the ASU Center for Applied Behavioral Health Policy (CABHP) and the Pacific Southwest Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) in partnership with SAMHSA’s National Center for Trauma and Justice (NCTJ) for a free webinar on Understanding the Effect of Trauma on the Lives of Those We Serve.  Presented by Joan Gillece, Ph.D. Director, SAMHSA National Center for Trauma Informed Care and Director, SAMHSA Promoting Alternatives to Seclusion and Restraint through Trauma-Informed Practices.

Upon completion of training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify at least four strategies to reduce the likelihood of re-traumatization; and,
  • Explore a minimum of two ways trauma affects people developmentally, psychologically and physiologically.
