The Family Drug Court Learning Academy Webinar Series
The Family Drug Court (FDC) Learning Academy offers web-based training events to assess the needs, implement program improvements, evaluate performance, and sustain FDC programs.
The Family Drug Court (FDC) Learning Academy offers web-based training events to assess the needs, implement program improvements, evaluate performance, and sustain FDC programs. Launched in 2010, the Learning Academy consists of three learning stages or “learning communities”: Planning Community, Early Implementation, and Enhanced Community. Seven webinar modules are offered to FDC teams and individuals at no cost starting February 2, 2011 through October 12, 2011.
The Enhanced Community will consist of a series of webinars aimed at expanding the scale and scope of existing FDCs focusing on best practices across all three systems. FDC Teams will be provided with a framework for developing sustainability plans as well as special topics webinars focusing on Engaging Fathers, Providing Services to Children, Moving Beyond a Project, Engaging the Community, and other topics needed to enhance existing FDCs.
