Center Hosts CJ-DATS Facilitators
CABHP Hosts National CJ-DATS Assessment Protocol Facilitators Meeting at Biltmore in Phoenix.
Recently, the ASU Center for Applied Behavioral Health Policy served as hosts for a meeting of the National Institute of Drug Abuse funded Criminal Justice Drug Abuse Treatment Studies (CJ-DATS II). On August 23 and 24, senior research fellow, Dr. David Duffee, coordinated a meeting of the facilitators implementing the Organizational Process Improvement Intervention (OPII), one of three implementation research trials being carried out under the auspices of CJ-DATS. These 15 individuals gathered to revise the implementation manual for implementing organizational change processes in correctional agencies and the manner by which offenders with substance use disorders are assessed and referred for substance abuse treatment services.
