COSP Outcome Evaluation

ASU is contracted with two consumer-operated service providers (COSPs), STAR and CHEEERS. COSPs are peer-run organizations that support members in recovery from mental illness and substance abuse using a self-help approach.

CABHP's Role: CABHP is responsible for collecting self-report survey data from program members at intake and every 90 days after. The surveys gather demographic information, service satisfaction and utilization, and various clinical outcome measures. CABHP provides annual evaluation reports to assist in program improvement, and conducts research studies to understand the characteristics, service utilization, and clinical outcomes of program members.

Principal Investigator: Michael S. Shafer, Ph.D.
